Far East Movement Drop ‘Unexpected’ Track With Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz
‘If I Die Tomorrow,’ off FM’s May 22 release, Dirty Bass, is ‘a song about losing yourself.’

Ever wondered what it would sound like if the Far East Movement enlisted Tokio Hotel‘s glammy, gothy lead singer Bill Kaulitz for a track? Well, wonder no more, because now we have “If I Die Tomorrow.”
The collaboration, which dropped Friday (May 18), leans more on FM’s love for partying than Kaulitz’s love for rocking. While FM rap all about bumping trunks, killing bottles and going crazy in the club, Kaulitz, in full auto-tuned, falsetto mode, proclaims, “If I die tomorrow, that means we had the night of our lives/ If tomorrow never comes, then tonight we lose control.”
“If I Die Tomorrow” is off FM’s new album, Dirty Bass, out May 22. When MTV News caught up with Far East Movement recently, Kev Nish told us that fans will see plenty of “unexpected collaborations” like this on the upcoming album.
“When we first signed to Cherrytree [Records], we went on the website and see who’s on the roster … and we saw Tokio Hotel, and we were like ‘Yo, this band is wild,’ ” Nish said of working with the Musical March Madness winner and Tokio Hotel’s leading man. “We were on a bus watching them on the MTV Europe Awards, winning, and we were like, ‘We need to do a song with those dudes.’
“So we got in with Bill Kaulitz and we just wanted to do a song about losing yourself, about possibly losing your mind, because you might die the next day,” he added.
The album also features Justin Bieber on the song “Live My Life.” The same day the album drops, the group also kicks off their tour with the kings of party rocking, LMFAO.

Gerard Butler’s Fun-Filled Cannes Weekend
Enjoying his time with fellow celebrity friends, Gerard Butler was spotted partaking in numerous festivities at the Cannes Film Festival this weekend.
On Saturday (May 19), the “Bounty Hunter” hunk looked dapper in a grey suit paired with a light pink undershirt as he made his way into the festival, while giving a wave and smile to the nearby photographers.
The 42-year-old actor’s Saturday afternoon activities came just after the Scottish actor got all dressed up in a tux and bow tie on Friday evening (May 18) to attend the Haiti Carnival festival with other A-listers including, Sean Penn and Jada Pinkett Smith.
While inside the Armani presented event, which benefited J/P HRO Artists for Peace and Justice & Happy Hearts Fund, the sexy “300″ star was spotted laughing and chatting it up with friends, while giving a go at a traditional Haitian music instrument.
The annual festival, which previews new films of all genres including documentaries from around the world, started last week and will continue through May 27.

Nick Stahl Confirms His Well Being Via Email
After almost ten days since his wife last saw him, Nick Stahl has reportedly reached out to friends and family to confirm he is alive.
According to a report put out by TMZ on Saturday (May 19), the “Terminator 3″ actor has emailed friends and family apologizing for the scare and telling them that he is heading to rehab and can’t be reached for 30 days.
Although his wife Rose was the one to originally report him missing, it seems she was not included in the email and the friends and family members remain skeptical about his whereabouts.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the actor’s wife Rose reported him missing to the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday (May 14) and claimed that substance abuse may have something to do with his disappearance.
The report was filed at 10 a.m. on Monday and LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera tells PEOPLE, “I can confirm that he’s missing and, as of now, he is still missing.”

‘Hunger Games’ Crosses $600 Million Globally
The Avengers faces a tough battle if they want to top Katniss and company’s expected $400 million domestic earnings.

After its sixth weekend in theaters, The Hunger Games” is still lighting up the box office. Katniss and company’s cumulative gross is currently a whopping $601 million worldwide, after raking in $11.2 million in the U.S. and another $7.4 million overseas this weekend.
Standing tall at #4, the dystopian franchise’s weekend dip was 23 percent, which is the lowest decline yet for the movie (its second weekend in theaters saw a 60 percent drop), according to Box Office Guru. And it wasn’t far behind third-place “The Lucky One,” which earned $11.3 following its second weekend.
It looks like the assembly of Earth’s mightiest heroes won’t even be able to stop Katniss’ estimated goal. With “The Hunger Games” sitting comfortably with a domestic total of $372.4 million, it’s going to take more than Thor and his mighty hammer to bring “Marvel’s The Avengers” to the top. If “The Hunger Games” can rake in $400 million domestically (like box-office experts predicted), it would outperform the first films in both “Twilight” and “Harry Potter.”
As audiences gear up for the highly anticipated Marvel film, only time will tell what this weekend will bring the first film in Katniss’ franchise. And as far as the success of a sequel since Gary Ross is no longer on board to direct, it isn’t something Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta, is particularly worried about.
“Gary, I think, brought so much to the movie, and he created that whole world that was so close to the book and so perfect in so many ways that it’s going to be hard for Francis [Lawrence] to come in, for sure,” Hutcherson told MTV News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. “But Francis is extremely talented and everyone I’ve talked to says he’s the best guy in the world. So I think he’s going to bring a lot [to the sequel].”

There are only a few more hours until Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker will hit our airwaves for “MTV First: ‘Battleship’ “ to premiere an exclusive clip from their buzzworthy summer blockbuster. In the meantime, we are happy to hold you eager fans over with a snippet from our interview with Rihanna about the film.
“I wanted to do something badass but I didn’t imagine it would be grungy, like straight Navy soldier, no makeup,” Rihanna said of her expectations for her first movie role. “I enjoyed it. We did training just before the shoot, speeding the boat, turning, learning how to shoot and handle the weapon, and two hours later we were shooting that scene.”
The “Talk That Talk” singer has received nothing but rave reviews for her work in the film.
“She was great,” director Peter Berg told MTV News of Rihanna’s acting chops. “She has a very strong part. I was surprised no one had ever thought to hire Rihanna,” he added. “I was a huge fan of her videos. Obviously she’s sexy, but she had this real intensity. I’m like, ‘Someone’s going to get her.’
“When I met with her, she came in a T-shirt and jeans, no makeup, very natural,” Berg recalled. “She was like, ‘Look, I want to be an actress. Don’t kiss my ass. Don’t lie to me. Push me. Treat me as you would any other actor. Help make me good.’ She is really, really good in ‘Battleship.’ ”

Pitbull Goes ‘Back In Time’ On ‘Men In Black’ Video Set

Not only does the “Men in Black” movie franchise boast great acting and stunning visual effects, each of the three films features a pretty kicking soundtrack as well. For “Men in Black 3,” which hits theaters May 25, Pitbull contributes the lead single, “Back in Time.”
MTV News caught up with Mr. Worldwide on the Los Angeles set of the “Back in Time” video and he gave us a pretty cool walk-through.
“What we’re doing here, to sum it up in layman’s terms, is making history,” Pit said. “The concept is basically all about the movie. The slogan for the movie is ‘Back in Time.’ In the record I say, ‘In order to understand the future we have to go back in time.’ ”
The clip not only features “MIB3″ movie scenes, it was actually filmed on the movie set, blending the Miami rapper’s performance shots seamlessly into Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones’ action shots. “As far as the sets that you see right now, it’s just integrating and running parallel with everything that you see in the movie,” Pitbull explained.
It was the Fresh Prince himself who recorded the theme songs — 1997′s “Men in Black” and 2002′s “Black Suits Comin’ ” — for the first two installments of the “MIB” trilogy. For the upcoming flick, Pit took over and used a sample of Mickey and Sylvia’s 1950s classic “Love Is Strange” for inspiration.
Now that he’s clocked his first collaboration with Big Willie, Pitbull hopes that they can work together some more. “I would love to follow in Will Smith’s footsteps,” he said. “We’re working on the music for the movie, and hopefully, one day, we’ll work in a movie together.”
